Wife Kristen and Steve Curter, both 30, decided to renovate this 1970s house because they didn’t have enough budget to buy a new apartment or single-family home.
They started by building a new bathroom, and then real renovation changes took place.
The couple was fortunate that no one wanted to buy the old house, which had been on the market for several years.
Steve and Kristen worked with great enthusiasm.
“Old houses always need a bit of love to bring them back to life,” Kristen explains.
They tried to preserve the old shape of the house. Steve explained that older places generally have better quality.
The man also said that it’s not easy to live in a house and do renovations at the same time.
“Not everyone can do it. You have to constantly clean everything so you don’t live in chaos,” Steve added.
The hardworking couple managed to complete their project, and now they have a beautiful and comfortable new home.
