He has created quite a stir with his speech. The man who has stayed away from media and communication has broken his silence.

The singer, who retired from the music scene in 2004, gave an eventful interview to Le Canard Enchaîné.

He surprised his audience by expressing his deep concern about the lack of respect shown by a certain individual.

Even though he remains silent today, Mr. Goldman still enjoys a good reputation among the French.

Despite the numerous tribute albums that have emerged in recent years, the musician has repeatedly stated that he will not be giving any new concerts.

If it were to happen, I would certainly make that clear,” he said.

In August 2023, the release of a biography by historian and librarian Ivan Jablonka takes precedence over a new album that pays tribute to the singer’s musical career.

The reason for this is that, as stated by him, the biography was not written with the musician’s consent.

Mr. Goldman claims that he has never had any relationship with the author, contrary to what some fans might have thought when they bought this book.

The star responded to a request from Le Canard enchaîné: “We don’t know this author, neither do my friends, and I’m sad for all those who are deceived and buy such books about me.”

Nevertheless, an important research effort allowed the author to provide details about the artist’s childhood and the beginning of his professional life.

According to Le Canard, IJ also attempted to contact the singer and some of his friends.

However, the historian clarified in his book and in the press that out of respect for his decline in public life, he did not attempt to meet the star.

What does IJ emphasize in his book? The story of young Jean-Jacques Goldman, a child of a rebellious Jewish family.

The disappearance of his brother Pierre in the 1970s is also one of the discussed topics.

However, delving into the intimacy of his current life in a suburb of Marseille with his wife Nathalie and their three young girls is out of the question.

The subject of his three older children, born from his union with Catherine, is also absent from the biography.
