A resident of hot Mexico, Maria de la Luz, was very surprised when she discovered signs of pregnancy.
After all, she just turned 70! When the news of Maria’s pregnancy was confirmed, she decided to tell the whole world about this unique event.
The Mexican invited several journalists to her home, to whom she told that she was six months pregnant.
When the woman was not believed, she provided indisputable evidence – the doctors’ conclusion and several ultrasound images. Maria told how she first learned about her interesting position.
“Towards the end of the second month, I lost my appetite, swelling and nausea appeared; my back started to hurt a lot. I went to the hospital, got tested, then found out I was pregnant.
The doctors couldn’t believe it and sent me to other clinics. But even then, my pregnancy was confirmed! It is interesting that the future mother already has seven older children.
However, they weren’t too happy about the news regarding the upcoming addition to the family. Maria’s children think she is too old to become a mother again.
However, this does not bother the Mexican, because she is happy once again to experience the happiness of motherhood.
Doctors say that due to her age, Maria will not be able to give birth to a child naturally. She will have to undergo a cesarean section.
If everything ends well and the baby is born, then 70-year-old Maria will become the absolute record holder among “old” mothers.
