A woman from England has decided to become Barbie in real life and has surrounded herself with pink.
She has pink hair, clothes, a car, interior items, and even received an appropriate nickname, with her husband supporting her in everything. The story of the “living doll” has caught the interest of the local newspaper.
On April 3, 2019, the British newspaper Derbyshire Live published an article about a woman from the village of Linton who loves pink very much.
Her name is Sally Owen, she is 48 years old, and she organizes pet auctions. Sally and her partner, 51-year-old bus driver Jason Dodds, decided to completely transform their house about five years ago.
And then the woman’s love for pink manifested itself in all its glory. Sally herself, in communication with journalists, admitted that she had always had a fondness for such a color. Moreover, her favorite singer is Pink.
“I really love this color, always have. I thought, ‘Why not?’ Especially since Jason didn’t mind,” Sally said.

“He has no problem with pink. It even seems to me that he has already started to like it. He has a lot of pink clothes. It’s like we have a family. Our house makes the whole area brighter, and I don’t see any problem with that,” Sally explained.
Neighbors quickly gave Sally the nickname “Pinky.” Indeed, the guys’ house stands out from the rest and attracts attention, but the woman herself doesn’t mind.
“All this attracts attention, especially children. People park in front of the house to take a photo in front of it. I remember before they even knocked to ask for permission, but I didn’t mind.
If it makes people happier, then it makes me happier too,” Sally said. Furthermore, the parallel with Barbie in this story is evident, as Sally herself doesn’t hide that she has become, in essence, a living prototype of the doll.
