The couple Sarah and Andy had known each other since university, where they were an inseparable couple.
They dated for a long time and eventually got married. However, a circumstance prevented their family dream – she couldn’t have children.
Doctors gave the couple a glimmer of hope. It turned out Sarah could have children, but only through in vitro fertilization. Such a procedure cost a lot of money.
Additionally, the doctors honestly warned that even in this case, the chance of getting pregnant was only around 10%.
Artificial insemination would cost $60,000, and the couple wasn’t ready to risk such a sum for the rather slim chance of having children.
So, the couple decided to adopt a child. They found a pregnant mother who would give up her child immediately after birth.
But just a few weeks before the birth, the mother surprised them with the ultrasound results.
It turned out not just one child would be born, but triplets at once! Apparently, the woman had known this beforehand but was afraid to tell the judges, fearing no one would want to adopt three children at once.
However, Sarah and Andy embraced the news enthusiastically. They decided it was a gift from destiny.
Until recently, they didn’t have any children, and now there would be triplets right away! The birth happened a bit prematurely, but the babies were born strong and healthy.
Consequently, the happy family was enriched with a boy, Joel, and two girls, Hannah and Elizabeth.
However, soon the couple was expecting another astonishing piece of news. It turned out that, contrary to all the doctors’ predictions, Sarah became pregnant!
After the initial examination, the excited Andy asked his wife, “Well, my boy?” After a pause, the woman evasively replied, “Yes, a boy.”
The family was expecting the addition of twins: a son and a daughter. The boy was named Andrew, and the girl was named Abigail.
“It’s just unimaginable! A year ago, we could only dream of children, and now we have a big family! Raising 5 children at once is too challenging. Nevertheless, the couple feels like the happiest people in the world.”
