Annie Windley, a 21-year-old British woman, survived exclusively on a sandwich every two days, weighed only 29 kg despite her age, appeared extremely thin, and suffered from anorexia.
However, thanks to a simple chocolate bar, she was able to overcome her food complexities and regain a balanced diet.
Annie had always been a very active girl, participating in sports activities, various events, and excelling as a student during her school years.
However, despite these engagements, her classmates ridiculed her because of her weight.
Tired of the remarks, she decided to follow a restrictive diet that excluded meat, sweets, noodles, and dairy products from her meals.
This “eating pattern” led Annie to be hospitalized several times, where she was diagnosed with anorexia.
Despite the specialists’ warnings about the health risks, she was no longer able to put an end to this practice.
She was so afraid of food that she couldn’t even look at it or bear its smell.
But one day, she chose to savor a chocolate bar.
Later, when she weighed herself, she realized that her weight hadn’t increased, and gradually, she started consuming sweet foods.
Annie conquered her fear of eating and became a wiser consumer of food.
She realized that food wasn’t as intimidating as she believed and managed to regain a healthy and balanced diet.
Currently, she weighs 45 kg and leads a healthy lifestyle, but she still retains a gentle nostalgia for that period.
It took her two years to regain her initial weight. Now, the girl has a splendid figure.
She dedicates herself to her studies, work, and running. She has a boyfriend. Annie prefers not to remember her past weight.
