After giving birth, Helen decided to abandon her child. Generally, such children are immediately abandoned because it was evident that something was wrong with the baby, and it was unlikely that the child would grow up to be healthy.
Helen even asked her husband if they should take the risk of trying to treat the child, but her husband placed all the responsibility on Helen, so she made the decision alone.
After what happened, Helen constantly argued with her husband. She slept poorly at night, and her son’s sad eyes haunted her dreams.
Helen blamed her husband for not supporting her in this difficult moment of life and for not assuring her that they could handle the situation and raise their son together. As a result, they separated.
Helen got married two more times but still couldn’t have a child. She consulted many doctors and was in perfect health, but nothing helped. At the age of 45, she had a brilliant career and a large apartment. However, there was no happiness in her life.
Helen didn’t know how to move forward because there was no sense in anything. So, she decided she would find her son.
But despite her connections and significant financial resources, she couldn’t uncover this information. Helen didn’t even know if her son was alive or not.
One day, lost in her thoughts, Helen exited a store. As usual, she gave some coins to a beggar outside the store. Suddenly, the beggar’s condition worsened, and he started having seizures.
Helen immediately called an ambulance for him and stayed by his side. That’s when she noticed that the beggar had the same birthmark behind the ear as her son.
After giving birth, she had only seen her child once. Helen rushed to the hospital with the beggar. He received medical care, and Helen quickly arranged for a maternity test. It turned out he was indeed her son, although he showed signs of disability.
Despite being 20 years old, his development was that of a 10-year-old child. Helen realized that fate had given her a chance to make things right. She brought her son home and began taking care of him, and now she had found her reason to live.
