This happens once in 52 million cases, according to experts. In Krakow, Poland, a mother of seven (aged seven months to 12 years) gave birth to five more babies at once, three girls and two boys, weighing 700 to 1400 grams, each measuring more than 40 centimeters .
Newborns are born prematurely. Therefore, as doctors said at a special press conference, the children had to undergo artificial lung ventilation for a while.
But now there is practically no fear for the lives of children.
However, all five, at least three years, will be under the constant care of doctors. Specialists will monitor the development of children and, if necessary, advise parents.
Dominica Clark, now a mother of 12, is doing well. Much better than expected, she told reporters. And she expressed her deep gratitude to the medical staff who paid great attention to her.
Of course, Dominika continued, I worry about how the development of children will take place, what awaits them in the future.
After all, something unusual happened, it’s not given to everyone.
Dominika also spoke about herself. She graduated from the Krakow Mining and Metallurgical Academy.
Then she went to England, where she taught English and mathematics at school.
