“Patrick Swayze is one of the most famous actors in Hollywood.
He became famous for his role in the romantic film Dirty Dancing. He was a desirable man for millions of women.
Almost everyone thought of this handsome man as a prince from ancient fairy tales: handsome, able to sing, dance, a Hollywood star.
His hobbies defined him as a true man: rodeo, car racing, skydiving. But at the same time, Patrick was a romantic soul.
When he was 14 years old, he met his future wife at a dance school.
At that time, actress Lisa Niemi was a student of Patrick’s mother, a talented choreographer. Lisa was different from her peers.
She never tried to attract Swayze’s attention. One day, Patrick was slapped by Lisa for an “accidental” hug.
Her unapproachability intrigued Patrick. And he soon fell head over heels: she captured his heart for life.
Their relationship started as a normal friendship. Patrick and Lisa talked for hours on end. They couldn’t get enough of each other.
Their relationship was sincere and genuine. Patrick had an irresistible desire to develop his talents, which is why he left Lisa.
He went to New York to pursue a career in classical dance. Lisa couldn’t live without him and moved with him.
The couple soon legitimized their relationship. They were happy together and wanted to expand their family and have children.
But unfortunately, after two miscarriages, the couple had little hope.
Later, due to all the experiences, Patrick became addicted to alcohol, cocaine, and cigarettes.
Rehabilitation helped him get rid of some of his habits. But he continued to smoke even after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 57.
Despite such a serious illness, Patrick continued to portray an FBI agent in the TV series “The Beast.”
Between takes on set, he underwent chemotherapy, doing his best to improve his physical condition with protein.
But the disease progressed very rapidly. He was such a strong man that he refused painkillers.
After finishing filming the show, he went to a ranch where he meditated while drinking freshly squeezed vegetable juice.
Swayze always said:
“With this terrible disease, we have nothing but the tools of a caveman.
You fight a monster with poison, but how much of that poison can your body take, and you still keep working.”
His incomparable Lisa was always there for him until the actor’s death on September 14, 2009. She supported him as much as possible and loved him more than life.”
