The good deed of a barber from Goiás, Brazil, took a completely different turn after a few days.
At first, a homeless man walked into Alessandro Lobo’s salon and asked to have his beard trimmed.
The barbershop staff already knew him, so they immediately offered the man food and money, but he modestly declined.
However, Alessandro didn’t leave it at that and gave 45-year-old Juan Guimarães a proper spa day.
The transformation took about two hours in total.
Juan had spent the last three years on the streets, so the salon staff not only gave him a stylish haircut but also provided him with clothing and shoes.
The man spoke little but struggled to hold back tears when he saw his renewed self in the mirror.
Alessandro shared a photo with Juan on social media, where they gained popularity.
And to the barber’s surprise, a relative of the homeless man reached out to him.
According to Juan’s sister, who lived in another city, she had lost contact with her brother about ten years ago.
She had been searching for him all that time but without success.
The woman had already thought he was dead until she saw his stylish photos on the internet.
Alessandro organized a meeting for them, during which brother and sister couldn’t be separated from each other.
