Mrs. Pocock, originally from Idaho, lives near the canal, which always has a strong current of water.
One day, while he was tidying up his garden, something strange caught his attention.
According to the woman, she had long been disturbed by a canal with a strong current, which posed a threat to passers-by.
He understood that if anyone fell in, they wouldn’t be able to save themselves. Once a little girl with a stroller and accompanied by a dog was walking near the canal.
Suddenly, something caught the dog’s attention, and he abruptly ran to the side, thus hitting the stroller with the child with a long leash, who immediately ended up in the water.
Without thinking, Mrs. Pocock jumped into the frozen canal of boiling water and grabbed the stroller.
The brave woman tried to pull him to shore, barely holding on to oncoming sticks and plants. The child’s savior admits that at that moment the Lord himself endowed her with strength.
Upon reaching shore, Mrs Pocock discovered she had been seriously injured and he hadn’t even noticed it when he was trying to save the stroller, as he had noticed that the baby had started to turn blue.
Undeterred, she gently turned him over and patted him lightly on the back. The child coughed and started breathing again.
By this time an ambulance had already arrived, called by eyewitnesses of Mrs Pocock’s heroism.
